The NV series of Reciprocating Surface Grinders with Vertical Spindle is optimized for precise and efficient flat grinding of a variety of materials. This series is very versatile and can be tailored to meet a wide range of grinding options from light flat grinding to high material removal rates with high horse power spindle options.
Grinding Tool options include Segment chucks with conventional or super-abrasive stones like CBN, Ring wheels, Cup wheels and Diamond wheels. Work-holding can be customized as well to accommodate fixed or swivelling magnetic chucks, fixtures etc. This series also lends itself to multiple dressing options for wheel wear compensation.

Quick flat grinding – The perfect solution that combines accuracy, finish and productivity, all in one.
The spindle is precise, rigid, built to handle a variety of grinding tools and workpiece materials. The spindle moves in the vertical direction only, mounted on a rigid column that is fixed on the one piece bed. This makes the spindle performance very stable with a high degree of stiffness.
We offer hydraulic or ball screw driven Ttble drives depending on your application and grinding process. Both are on coated and hand scraped ways that provide accuracy and reliability over the life of the machine.

Heavy Duty Grinding? – We Have the Right Option for You!
Our heavy duty spindle option can handle heavy material removal at high rates of production. This option comes with a heavy duty Spindle, rigid bed, fixed column on the one piece bed, and through spindle coolant. This spindle is designed to not only take tangential load but also axial loads.
Grinding Stones and wheels of different configurations can be provided to suit your application.
